Salvaged Farm Equipment

We are Green!!

With our environment in mind, carhartcustoms.com features scrap, salvaged or used farm equipment in several of our items. This helps cut your cost and utilizes material which would otherwise be thrown away or considered trash. Left-over metal pieces, scrap, slag, drops, and any other material that is not used in my art is saved and sold to a salvage yard to be recycled and made into useful steel products again.

Do you have scrap, farm equipment parts, warn parts, building steel, construction steel, or anything else that would/could be used in my art or projects?? GET PAID FOR IT TODAY! I pay $$ for this material, free removable!! Or trade a one-of-a-kind art piece made out of your material.. Let me come pick through your junk! Please click here to contact me: Contact Us

Most materials come from my family farm located in Dove Creek, CO. Our farm, Carhart and Sons Seed Growers, is located in the South West corner of Colorado. We raise Pinto Beans, Wheat, Oats, Sunflowers, and native grass seeds. I use replaceable equipment parts that are worn, sometimes I use parts of the implement itself.

Other material comes from local farmers, landowners, and business across the western slope.

The life of used/worn tine-teeth

Tine Teeth on the tillage equipment:

The worn teeth are cut and formed

Used in wine rack bases, hangers, hearts, scroll work, display stands, and so much more!!!

Discs

The used discs are cut & welded into base stands & dishes: the warn barrings are cut apart and made into grape clusters

Finally, they are turned into art: bird baths, fire pits, grapes, wine racks, and much more
